I describe myself as creative, fresh but most of all, fun. I don't consider myself a picture taker, but rather someone who looks for those special moments to create works of art to last lifetimes. I see things in people that energizes me and I love leaving each session feeling like I've met the most beautiful and luckiest people I've ever met.

Because I am a mom first and foremost, I only accept a limited number of sessions per month and book out at least 6-8 weeks in advance. Happiness

This session was rescheduled from the extremely crazy heat a couple of weeks ago and I’m so glad we waited, because althought its still toasty outside, it was great weather for photographs. Little misses just turned the big ONE year old and wow, does she love her big brother. I had a great time going back through these and watching her face as she watched him. I love it.

Seriously gorgeous family and absolutely so happy together!

Thank you so much again A family! You guys were awesome!

Secret Garden

I apologize for the blog neglect… I think I had the busiest and most stressful month EVER both personally and photographically and am only now just starting to feel like I can breathe! I’m going to be trying a few things to reduce my workflow some including blogging less in sneak peeks and on Facebook.

Last weekend I photographed these three sisters who were just the perfect subjects to go with the perfect location. Simply stunning and I’ll let the photos say the rest.

Happy Day

This beautiful evening I was at the beautiful Catoctin Mountain Orchardwith these beautiful people. Their oldest daughter is having a birthday tomorrow and they’ve never had professional photos done before (much to celebrate)!

Perfect.

If you arrive with rain boots to wear when it’s not even raining, I just might do a cartwheel.

Mom brought this basket from her house (she came very prepared!)…. I love it!

I’m kinda in love with these shots.

And if you have 3 beautiful girls in your family, I can pretty much guarantee that I’ll want to have a tea party.

Truly daddy’s little princesses.

If you’re a parent of a toddler, you can relate to peace and quiet followed by them interrupting and running circles around you!

Follow Your Heart

If you’re familiar with my website, then his 1st year cake smash photographs are unmistakable. This is my 4th time photographing him and really and truly, he’s one of the happiest kids I’ver photographed.

I also can’t believe how grown up he looks… and how smart he is! This is that look that moms everywhere know, that mischevious terrible twos summed up in one photograph.

I’m trying to post my blog previews in more of a storytelling way since many people comment that my photographs almost tell a story sometimes. So what better way then to help illustrate with photos. What do you think this story says?

Beautiful Girls

I’ve known this wonderful mom for a long time and have photographed her oldest daughter back when I was just getting started and she was 1 at the time, then when baby sister came along, I got to photograph them again and now, baby sister is already one year old.

She wanted to do some first birthday shots and of course some of the girls together but since Mother’s Day is right around the corner (and we all know how photos make the best gifts!), I pushed her to get in some photographs. She’s such a great mom, works so hard, and her admiration for her daughters is always so apparent when she talks about them… and besides ot’s not like she’d break my camera or anything!
