I describe myself as creative, fresh but most of all, fun. I don't consider myself a picture taker, but rather someone who looks for those special moments to create works of art to last lifetimes. I see things in people that energizes me and I love leaving each session feeling like I've met the most beautiful and luckiest people I've ever met.
Because I am a mom first and foremost, I only accept a limited number of sessions per month and book out at least 6-8 weeks in advance. Being able to watch clients grow from tiny sweet babies like this http://luckyladybugphotography.com/blog/?p=1718 into a beautiful almost one year old like this is truly amazing.
She came to my studio today full of smiles and pretty clothes! 
Oh and cupcakes… and of course she knew exactly what to do with them!
When this mom booked the session, she had already thought a lot about how she wanted to remember her family as of June 2011…she wanted to include things that they enjoyed doing and things that her little girl loved. And wow, what a beautiful, beautiful child.
I got this shot when mom and dad walked away. All I had to do was ask her to pose like this and voila.
I try to start sessions out with toddlers like this. We do the perfect shots first. And then we get a little messy and have fun!
She has a black truck that matches her dad’s. What dad doesn’t LOVE it when their little girls love the things they love??!!! *sigh*
And finally, this family loves swimming and it is a huge part of their summer. This little girl (who is only 2 by the way) has been jumping into pools since she was one!!! Future allstar swimmer here!
I loved meeting this family… so, so nice and this little baby lucked out with great parents and the sweetest big sister!
This session was the day before Father’s Day… how awesome that he has a beautiful princess and a future WVU football player to celebrate this Father’s Day with.
I came across this shot editing and just fell in love with her pose.
I share this with a lot of people but I am a HUGE dog lover and last year we put our Chocolate Lab to sleep… so when I met Mo here, I fell in LOVE! He’s an awesome dog and a great big brother. AND, a superstar. He just won Montgomery County’s Best Kisser contest for the second year in a row!
Yes, I have a dog bone on my head here for this shot. Hey, whatever works….
Yes! I get to photograph twins coming soon! These two parents to be could not be happier, even on 100 degree weather days… no problem! They never complained once. Now me on the other hand…. I’m going to work on complaining less about the weather!

I think this is the first time I’ve ever made someone wait more than 2 days for a sneak peek. I just can’t seem to catch a break over here lately… I realize now that April is a bad time of month to schedule outdoor sessions because I pay for it in May with all the rain delays!
I met up with this beautiful couple in this Enchanted Forest… who is expecting their first child soon and I get to photograph him or her! That is the best part of maternity sessions for me, by far.
I love this one.
