No really, I believe he really is! This little red-headed sweetheart is celebrating his first birthday in just a few weeks and this family drove from Reading, PA to help commemorate it at a relative’s home. We had some gorgeous light out this morning and with that, all I need are some trees and an adorable happy baby for great photographs.

Mom had all these old toys that had been in her family for many, many years and I loved them in these photos!

Happiest Baby in Town
June 27, 2010Schedule Update
June 21, 2010And just like that, the rest of my year is BOOKED! WOW! Thank you so much for all of the support, enthusiasm and appreciation for my photographs. I can’t tell you how honored I am that so many of my photos are a part of so many families lives now for generations to come.
I do have one or two spots left in December for a newborn session in my home studio but that’s it. Last year, I was working my tail off through the holiday rush which began in September for me and lasted until Christmas Eve I just can’t do it this year so thankfully, my schedule being booked out so far in advance made that decision for me.
Be on the lookout for a ton of newborn babes coming up though…. I can’t WAIT to show you what these new sessions bring!
Down on the Farm
June 21, 2010I met up with the R family at their relative’s farm in Frederick County on a very hot morning… kudos to them for not complaining once! It was so hot and humid and I am pretty sure I smelled like a locker room by the end (sorry, just keepin’ it real here) but that didn’t stop us from having a good time. This was my first time, I believe, incorporating some farm animals into a session and I loved it! So, if you’re reading this and have access to a farm, please keep it in mind for some truly unique photographs.

Little misses here just turned the big ONE year!

The boys and the rooster.

Secret Garden
June 21, 2010I apologize for the blog neglect… I think I had the busiest and most stressful month EVER both personally and photographically and am only now just starting to feel like I can breathe! I’m going to be trying a few things to reduce my workflow some including blogging less in sneak peeks and on Facebook.
Last weekend I photographed these three sisters who were just the perfect subjects to go with the perfect location. Simply stunning and I’ll let the photos say the rest.

He’s One Year Old!
June 9, 2010This is my 4th session with this little dude this year and I must say, his personality just shines now! What a very cool thing to have been able to capture him as he’s grown into this adorable little guy that is walking and full of smiles!
This session happened to be on his mommy’s birthday (and she happens to be a twin!) so I also grabbed some photos of the two sisters together.
It was such a pleasure getting to know this family this year…and I’m feeling very blessed to do what I do! ![]()

No fish were harmed in the making of these photographs!

Perfect Princess
June 9, 2010She’s here! Remember this beautiful mom-to-be? They’ve recently welcomed a perfect baby girl and I do mean perfect…she was a doll for me!

It was quite special watching the three of them together… they really never took their eyes off of their beautiful daughter for very long. Simply smitten.

Raise your hand if you’re happy to be here!

And finally… this adorable headband and tutu was purchased by her momma long before she arrived… she knew what she wanted and she had the perfect baby to go with it!

I love families and summertime!
June 5, 2010I’ve had the pleasure of photographing quite a few families lately and it really is such a fun time for me. My family sessions last 2 hours and during that time, I like to think it’s all play and little work!
I first photographed the E family this past winter when they welcomed baby #3 and they invited me back to their home for a family session as they are now a family of 5, or 7 if you count the two dogs! They have this gorgeous property right in their very back yard!
