Schedule Update

June 21, 2010

And just like that, the rest of my year is BOOKED! WOW! Thank you so much for all of the support, enthusiasm and appreciation for my photographs. I can’t tell you how honored I am that so many of my photos are a part of so many families lives now for generations to come.

I do have one or two spots left in December for a newborn session in my home studio but that’s it. Last year, I was working my tail off through the holiday rush which began in September for me and lasted until Christmas Eve I just can’t do it this year so thankfully, my schedule being booked out so far in advance made that decision for me.

Be on the lookout for a ton of newborn babes coming up though…. I can’t WAIT to show you what these new sessions bring!

Due to popular demand, I will now be offering newborn sessions in my home studio in Fairfield, PA effective immediately. Because the space is small (and because I prefer to shoot children and families outside), I will only be offering newborn session in-studio. I will still offer the Signature Newborn Package with mini-maternity and in your home newborn sessions for $200 but these in-studio only newborn sessions will be at a special session fee of $125. These sessions are being offered Tuesday and Thursday mornings only.

Please contact me for more details!

Spring is almost here! Thank goodness because I’ve got a major case of cabin fever.

I’m planning a mini-session for the first day of Spring on Saturday, March 20th at Strawberry Hill Nature Center in Fairfield, PA. I’m still working out one more key detail but I will structure these similarly to my Christmas Tree mini-sessions. All digital, 1/2 hour-45 minutes and files available for download in a week. Price is the same at $275.00.

Also a quick note to you let you know that I’m now booking for May sessions. Feb, March and April are booked. I will be taking 2 weeks off in Feb to catch up on business related things that I just didn’t get time to do when January’s bookings came so fast.

If you are interested in taking advantage of some beautiful Spring color, May is the perfect month. Don’t delay!

Happy winter!

A profile of my work along with three shots the editors selected can be seen in this edition of Celebrate Gettysburg magazine.  The entire issue can be viewed online now at www.celebrategettysburg.com.  Also, check out the story I photographed for the Something Yet to Be article… great group of ladies with wonderful stories to tell.

Thanks to all of my clients who gave me great material for consideration in the magazine!

CASTING CALL ANNOUNCEMENT!

December 29, 2009

I’m ready to ring in the New Year with a CASTING CALL available in February 2010!  I like to believe that my photography is natural and capturing children as they are is only fitting to do so in their natural environment, hence my idea for an awesome kids bedroom casting call!

What I’m looking for:  Photographs of kids ages 3-7 who have awesome bedrooms with lots of natural light. Like it came from a Pottery Barn Kids catalog or off the pages of The Land of Nod.  I want to capture kids playing in their rooms with toys, jumping on their bed and reading books.

What I will offer: a FREE session with a free 11×14 mounted print.  Any additional prints may be purchased at regular prices.  The session will take place in February 2010 and will be limited to two sessions only, first come, first serve.  Siblings are welcome.

What this CASTING CALL is not: This is a chance for me to express some creativity during these cold winter months and it will be unlike a regular session where you call all the shots :)   This will not be an opportunity for family shots, but will just be shots of children only.  Younger or older siblings are welcome though for photographs together.

Details:  Please send me a photograph of your child’s room so I can see what kind of natural light it gets in the morning.  I will also need to know your child’s age and boy/girl as well.

You must live within 25 miles of zip code 21701 or 17320 and you must be willing to sign a model release so that I may post them on my website.

These are limited to two offerings only so please don’t delay!

You can send it to sandy@luckyladybugphotography.com

Thank you and Happy New Year!

I hope you have enjoyed 2009 as much as I have.  Here is my year in review, a photograph from each session I did this year, all 80+ of them.

I am very much looking forward to a bright and happy 2010.  Much peace and happiness for you in the new year. Happy Holidays!

You might know that I’m also a contributing photographer for Celebrate Gettysburg Magazine… they’re doing a feature story on their contributing photographers with some of their images. I’m asked to submit some of my most favorite photographs that I’ve taken and I’ll be honest, I’m having a really hard time narrowing them down.

Do you have a favorite image? If so, please let me know by leaving me a comment. I’d love to hear why as well.

Thank you!

The Holidays are Coming!

October 13, 2009

If you’d like this new (to me) red sofa in your holiday photographs, just give me the heads up! It fits in my car but I just need an extra set of hands getting it out. I LOOOOOVE it. Did I mention how much I love it?

I also have this new (to me) gold chair that I’ve been loving against the fall foliage. I also love this little girl. What a sweet, beautiful model I have.

Update

July 26, 2009

Just a little message to let everyone know I’ve been a little behind lately with a family emergency ontop of my little girl being sick. I will be working this week to get caught up as much as I can and hope to have all of my proofing completed by this weekend. If I haven’t responded to emails quite as fast, I assure you it’s been nothing personal!

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

In Loving Memory of my Grandma who died July 26th 2009 and left behind a loving family who will forever cherish the time they had with her.
